Alexis is an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities majoring in Nutrition. She is particularly interested in how nutrition affects oral health. Alexis plans to pursue dental school after graduation and hopes to use her background in nutrition to deepen her understanding of the connection between diet and oral health.She currently volunteers with the Gopher Men’s Basketball team, assisting in sports nutrition and helping student-athletes optimize performance and recovery. Combining her interests in dentistry and athletics, Alexis aspires to become a team dentist in the NHL. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, spending time with her dog Remy, and watching sports.
